Action Points

Homebrew action economy rules from Nimble Co

Action Points (AP) Instead of a Move, Action & Bonus Action in combat, PCs get 3 Action Points! AP can be spent to perform any of these. AP recharge at the beginning of your next turn.

Stacking Disadvantage Like normal disadvantage, you would add an additional d20 to the action roll and take the lowest result. However with stacking disadvantage you include a d20 for each instance of disadvantage. In the example of a turn using three instances of attack (all 3 APs) the first attack is rolled normally, the second one done with normal disadvantage, and the final attack will be done by taking the lowest result of 3 d20s. In the case of the attack already imposing disadvantage the final attack would be the lowest result of 4 d20s.

Reactions You can perform a reaction once per round provided you have enough AP remaining after ending your turn. To have a reaction ready you must have more than 0 AP outside of your turn.
